Authorities Tuesday were investigating the third shooting in Duarte in just three days. Residents in an apartment building in the 2500 block of Huntington Drive heard gunshots around 11:30 p.m. Monday, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. “It sounded like five bangs really loud,” neighbor Victoria Sandoval said. Christopher Rossi, 16, was found shot in the rear of the complex, where he lived with his parents. He was pronounced dead at the scene, officials said.
